Following the amendments, Perfluorohexane sulfonate (PFHxS), its salts, and other PFHxS-related compounds will be banned under the POPs Regulation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>PFHxS Restrictions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>PFHxS belongs to a group of chemicals used in various industrial processes and consumer products, including stain-resistant fabrics, fire-fighting foams, and food packaging.
