    Torben Rahbek is an independent product safety consultant. He has worked as such since 2006 and has delivered numerous trainings on the EU rules for product safety, CE-marking and compliance to businesses. He has been part of the SPEAC project since 2020, and had contributed to several of the training sessions and short knowledge videos that can be seen on the project’s website. 

    Before becoming a consultant, he headed the market surveillance department in the Danish Safety Technology Authority and had the overall responsibility for the market surveillance activities under several directives including the General Product Safety Directive, the Low Voltage Directive, the Toys Safety Directive and others.
