The HQTS Cares Program, the charitable wing of HQTS, has donated 10 million Nigerian naira to fund free cataract surgeries for 30 low-income patients in Nigeria, marking the start of HQTS’s community engagement in the country.

The donation supports “Light of Hope, New Vision,” a charity project initiated by Ms. Yan Yuqing, Consul General of China in Lagos, and backed by several Chinese community organizations. It was announced on September 19 at the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day celebration, which drew nearly 1,000 guests and marked HQTS’s first public appearance in Nigeria.
This is the program’s second initiative in Africa, following educational support for 20 students from financially disadvantaged families in Uganda in 2024.

Founded in 2017, the HQTS Cares Program has supported communities in China and overseas through education, healthcare, and other charitable work. HQTS will continue to make social responsibility part of its long-term growth, extending support to more communities in the years ahead.
